Malabar Hill Forest

Malabar Hill Forest is a home to diverse flora and fauna, species of birds, and reptiles. Over a long period of time this forest has fallen prey to slums encroachment, a heap of garbage and construction waste, and antisocial activities. There is an urgent need to preserve and restore the forest’s rich ecosystem. The forest trail project will catalyze the preservation and restoration of Malabar Hill Forest. This approximately 705m long trail will have an average width of 1.5m trail and a minimum height of 2m from the forest floor. It will be interspersed with viewing decks, benches, and glass-bottom look-out zones. Overall this forest trail is quite a different project from other projects designed by IMK Architects so far.

Reliance Guest House at Sasan

Another engrossing future project of IMK Architects is Reliance Guest House at Sasan, Madhya Pradesh. IMK Architects is set out to design a guest house that will calm and restore executives after a stressful day at work. The guest house structure will be camouflaged with screens of bamboo and creepers, to merge the built form with nature. The entrance of the guest house will be designed to descend along a water cascade. A huge lobby area next to the entrance will have great scenic views of the valley. VIP suites units will be placed with utmost privacy for each unit, overlooking the best views in the area. Another 30 guest rooms will have a private deck with a special view. Overall this guest house will be one of the outstanding projects designed by IMK Architects.
