Poonam Chambers
"A modern avatar for modern day functions"
Poonam Chambers, a commercial building in Worli, needed a new look after the collapse of the “B” Wing in 1997.
The new building consists of a basement, ground and eight upper floors. The new tower is made earthquake- resistant and a regular RCC structure instead of the old construction of flat slab.
The newly designed elevations consist of glazed façade on three sides, while the façade on the south side comprises of ACP panels and aluminum louvers.
