Reliance VIP Bungalow

"A rustic retreat designed to relax, refresh and rejuvenate"

This bungalow is a part of the township for Reliance Ultra’s mega power plant at Sasan and was designed for the chairman of the group. The design appeal lied in the concept of giving a well-travelled industrialist a home with a local touch.

We used an indigenous palate of materials, mud finish plaster, wood and roofing tiles to create a modern-day luxury-environment for our client. An inviting water-body at the entrance silently flows into a garden spaces taking care of the micro-climate. A green, indoor courtyard with light streaming in mixes with a rustic, wooden staircase, to create a sense of serenity. The bedrooms, on the first floor, are spacious and elegantly designed.

The house sits on a slope and overlooks a man-made lake planned on the North side. Cavity walls have been used to protect against the hot, dry climate.
