Vijaynagar Valley Proposal 1 | 2008

The 800 acre parcel of land was subdivided by an existing natural drain. Planned as a natural green boundary for the Institutional, Commercial and Residential Zone it was to be called the “Green Hampi Corridor”.

200 acres out of this 800 acre parcel of land was identified to house 1000 families.

1000 homes - 1BHK and 2 BHK apartments for the workers at the JSW Steel Plant were designed drawing inspiration from the Vijay Nagar Architectural Style and Steel Industrial Empire of the region.

After intensive research on the traditional architectural style - Reliving Hampi, Hampi Alive , Regenesis and Organic Steel were derived as our themes for the neighbourhoods each with its distinct style and variation in detail whilst maintaining the standard floor plan

Each neighbourhood of about 100 to 150 units was designed with its own unique identity and building configuration. The buildings created a safe and usable and courtyard within, envisioned with sustainable principles like solar panel car parks, vermiculture and east-west orientation for the units.
